Hi, I'm Brandy Veazey! I was raised in Baton Rouge, LA. I have a son, a daughter, a step daughter, and a husband, that I like to refer to as Mr. Southerly. My passions are helping people, real estate, interior design and sweets! I began my journey in real estate as a marketing rep for a title company. I became an Realtor in 2013 and worked for Keller Williams on a team. I learned so much from that experience. After 5 years on the team, I left and moved to a smaller firm that was a better fit for my new lifestyle as a full time mom and Realtor. I loved the small close knit family atmosphere that Remax Professional provided but something was missing. I wanted to be able to include my love for staging and interior design into my daily real estate business. My past clients would call and ask my advice on furniture, renovations, paint colors, you name it. I had also been working with a builder to pick finishes, paint, flooring, etc for some new construction properties.
I set out to get my broker's license and to form Southerly. I wanted the name to sound Southern and classic. After a few google clicks the word Southerly appeared on my screen and I knew that was the name.
My goal is to be able to provide my clients with the FULL experience. I don't want to only be part of their lives when they are looking to buy or sell a home. I want to be a part of all things home related in my client's lives. To me, home is a sacred place. I can still remember the smells, quirks, trees and cozy spots of my home from childhood. There is no better feeling than having a home that you love to live in.
